The Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code has been passed by both the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha recently. It is expected that the new law will have a huge impact is on individual insolvency resolution. However, there hasn't been enough focus on it from the policy makers and in the public discourse. The first round table on individual insolvency is an effort to increase the focus on individual insolvency under the new law.
