Watching Indian firms: financing patterns

This page presents time series graphs of how the capital structure and financing preferences of three cohorts of Indian non-financial firms have evolved over time. Each cohort is defined in terms of the year of incorporation of the firm. There are three cohorts that we create to monitor: Post liberalisation sample, firms that were incorporated in any of 1992/1993/1994, Credit boom sample, firms that were incorporated in any of 2000/2001/2002, and Post 2008 sample, firm that were incorporated in any of 2008/2009/2010. The span of the graphs go from 1993 to 2015. The variables that are presented are chosen to visualise how firms in these different cohorts make financing choices in the life-cycle of their respresentative firm.
